FLINT, MI — People can explore the wares from nearly 40 vendors at a weekend event on Flint’s north side.

The vendor event is scheduled from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 12 in the back yard of Berston Field House, located at 3300 Saginaw Street.

The free event is being put on through a partnership between Trendsetter Productions run by Tracy Palmer and Elevate Exchange run by Dustin Gaines.

The theme of the event is Summertime and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Gaines said.

“It’s about bringing the community together and starting the summer off right,” Gaines said.

Gaines said this is his first time putting on a vendor event.

Locals will be selling clothing, food, hair products and an assortment of other products.

Gaines said he started his own clothing line, Elevate Exchange Clothing, a year ago and wants to help support other local entrepreneurs.

“The idea of my brand is to elevate your life and elevate the others around you,” he said.
