BURTON, MI — A one-mile stretch on Maple Road in Burton will close for a five-day period next week for railroad crossing repairs.

A section of Maple Road between Dort Highway and Center Road at the railroad crossing will be shut down for the repairs.

The road will be closed at 6 a.m. Monday, June 14 and is anticipated to reopen by 5 p.m. Friday, June 18, according to a news release from the Genesee County Road Commission.

Motorists are advised to follow posted detour routes.
