The Michigan high school girls tennis state finals begin Thursday and run through Saturday, with the top teams in the state taking runs a state championships.

Division 1 is Friday and Saturday at Mason and Okemos, with the Division 2 state finals Friday and Saturday at the Midland Tennis Center and Midland Dow High School. Division 3 is Friday and Saturday in the Holland area, with Division 4 Thursday and Friday in the Portage area.

In the final rankings by the Michigan High School Tennis Coaches Association before the state finals, Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart made a move up to No. 1 in Division 4, jumping from its No. 4 spot past Traverse City St. Francis.

Several teams jumped into the Top 10 before the state finals, including Byron Center in Division 2 and Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard in Division 4.
